**Business Function**

The IT Division builds and supports mission critical internal and customer-facing software solutions and infrastructure for wide-ranging products and services across the Equiniti Group. The Technology PMO team owns the IT project methodology, governance,reporting standards and portfolio of technology driven projects, as well as the IT project capacity management function.

**Role Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project professional with a background in managing technology projects, portfolios and PMOs. The Senior Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for the governance of the IT Division’s management of technologyprojects across the Group. This includes both Business and IT sponsored projects.

They will manage the Technology Enterprise Technology Portfolio Administration, including project demand, technology approval and reporting processes. They will guide and support IT Portfolio Delivery teams and Business colleagues to ensure that technologyproject requests are managed within a controlled governance framework and that approved projects are delivered and reported in accordance with the Technology Division’s methodology. They will enhance, document and implement systems and processes to integrateacquisitions and accommodate Divisional structural changes, whilst also ensuring continuous improvement of the governance framework. They will collaborate with Group Change to ensure Technology requirements are accommodated in Group governance and reportingrequirements. In addition, they will provide PMO expertise and support to large IT managed programmes and projects, and deputise for the Head of Tech PMO.

**Core Duties/Responsibilities**

**Governance**
- Manage and improve the Enterprise Technology Portfolio Governance.
- Set standards and manage the Enterprise Technology Portfolio Administration processes.
- Oversee the management of the Technology and Architecture Review Boards and processes, to ensure a controlled review and approval structure for Enterprise Technology projects, with comprehensive audit trails.
- Undertake regular portfolio reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Liaison with IT Project Managers and Portfolio Delivery Managers to agree priorities and status.
- Perform regular Quality Assurance reviews to ensure audit and governance compliance.
- Manage large IT programme and project PMO functions, as required.
- Adherence to all Regulatory, Security and Compliance requirements.

**Portfolio Management & Reporting**
- Manage the production and distribution of consolidated accurate and regular reporting on the Portfolio.
- Tailor reporting and producing metrics to meet the needs of varying stakeholders, including Execs, Sponsors and IT Leadership Team.
- Support Head of Tech PMO in production and review of IT Business Cases, Benefits Reviews and other project and portfolio reports and artefacts for Exec and ITLT audiences.
- Support Head of Tech PMO in the compilation, forecasting and management of the Technology sponsored Investment initiatives, priorities and budgets.

**Capacity Planning**
- Support Resource Capacity Manager to evaluate and model resourcing requirements, to identify options to optimise efficiency of implementations and sequencing of projects.
- Work closely with delivery leads and Project Managers to plan and forecast resources required to assess demand and deliver the portfolio.
- Support Resource Capacity Manager in maintenance of Technology Division organisational structure charts, location trackers and IT recruitment processes.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Proven experience in an Enterprise Technology focused Project Management Office.
- Experience of implementing and improving new governance processes.
- Experience of project & programme methodologies (agile and waterfall) and management of pipeline of demand.
- Experience of providing clear, comprehensive project and portfolio KPI reporting.
- Experience of managing Technology projects and portfolios.
- Strong and demonstrable stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate.
- Strong presentation skills, with clear demonstrable experience in producing and delivering quality presentations and reporting.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, with ability to rapidly assimilate data to determine optimum solution.
- Familiarity with IT terminology and taking minutes for technology forums.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Advantageous**
- Experience gained within Financial Services sector and/or regulated environment.
- Prince 2 / Agile / DSDM experience and / or qualification.
- Power BI experience.
- MS Project Online.
