At Penguin Random House Audio, the UK’s leading audiobook publisher, we are dedicated to making the very best audiobooks. Working with exceptional acting talent, producers and studios, we publish award-winning and bestselling audiobooks such as Richard Osman’s _The Thursday Murder Club _series, Bernadine Evaristo’s Booker-winning _Girl, Woman, Other_, Prince Harry’s _Spare_ and Dr Julie Smith’s _Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?_

Penguin Random House is also proud to be the home of BBC Audio. We publish a wide range of entertainment drawn from recent radio programming and the BBC archive. Comedy titles include _I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, Cabin Pressure_ and _That Mitchell & Webb Sound_. The realms of fantasy are depicted in _Doctor Who, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Lord of the Rings_ and _The Chronicles of Narnia. _There’s radio drama based on the works of some of our most popular and significant writers including Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle, TV soundtracks including _Blackadder_ and _Fawlty Towers_ and cultural epics such as _A History of the World in 100 Objects_.

**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for a Campaigns Executive who is eager to join an award-winning team in the fastest-growing segment of publishing as the BBC Audio Marketing and Publicity lead. You’ll have experience developing inspiring and highly effective marketing and publicity campaigns that deliver results. With a love of all things audio, you’ll be brimming with ideas to reach new and existing listeners.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Planning, implementing, and analysing standout audio marketing and publicity campaigns.
- Generating ideas to promote the audio format across varied audiences and genres, including: dramatisations, comedy, factual content and fantasy.
- Developing content with authors and narrators in the recording studio, where possible.
- Liaising with Penguin Random House marketing teams to build multi-format campaigns.
- Working collaboratively with the BBC Editorial team to identify key titles which require marketing and publicity support.
- Working collaboratively with BBC Studios and lead on Doctor Who audio campaigns.
- Briefing media agencies, monitoring results, and reporting post campaign.
- Encouraging authors and narrators to champion the audio format.
- Identifying opportunities to promote the audio through PR and influencers.

**What you’ll bring**

We’ll need you to have:

- Experience of running your own campaigns, bringing bags of enthusiasm and ideas to each one, using your initiative to make the most of your budget, however big or small.
- Confidence in your approach and ability to represent the Audio team in inter-departmental meetings.
- Excellent organisational, attention to detail and prioritisation skills, juggling multiple projects and campaigns at once.
- Excellent written communication

It goes without saying you’ll have a passion for audio, but you certainly don’t need to have worked in audiobooks or publishing before. Whoever you are, we want someone ready for an exciting new challenge.

**Salary**: £29,500 plus bonus and benefits
