Assistant Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Surveyor to join our Living Space Planned team in the Hertfordshire area.

Key Accountabilities will include:

- Conducting subcontractor procurement exercises to obtain best value for Wates and its client. This would include the production of sub-contractor documentation, produced to Wates framework standards.
- Building up client quotations, using NHFv7 schedule of rates for submission.
- Producing and submitting interim and final accounts to the client.
- Evaluating and certifying Sub-contractor payments through Wates ordering and financial systems.
- Production and issue of client invoices.
- Provide daily supervision of the Commercial Administrator, ensuring that tasks are complete.
- Adhere to Wates industry leading health and safety guidelines.

We are looking for recent experience of working within Housing Maintenance; some Tier 1 Contractor experience; and experience using Impact Response and COINS (or similar systems).
