**Claims Specialist - Natural Resources**

Are you excited to join a claims team that handles Natural Resources claims on behalf of some of the world's most recognised organisations? If so, we have a fantastic hybrid role with flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chelmsford or London office.

**What the day will look like**

In this exciting role, you will be engaged in the management and administration of new and existing notifications, collections and the successful resolution of a portfolio of Natural Resources claims, with emphasis on the Renewable sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Dealing with first notification of claims and understanding / learning about the scope of coverages in place
- Dealing with markets, client and placement teams, network offices, underwriters and appointed third parties (loss adjusters, lawyers etc)
- Help facilitate and follow up on the payment and settlement of claims for clients with underwriters
- Coordinate discussions, meetings and technical support to facilitate a superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the handling and settlement of claims
- Conduct data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and to identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment
- Liaison with other teams as necessary to ensure sharing of relevant information and any other tasks that Aon and your line manager might reasonably require

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Experience dealing with claims from First Notification of Loss to resolution
- Ideally a knowledge of Natural Resources claims and confidence to help coordinate and be involved with discussions with our networks, clients, underwriters and experts
- Experience of the CLASS and ECF Processing system (preferable)
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- A-level or equivalent and Cert CII desirable
