NSK Bearings Europe LTD are a Newark based bearings manufacturer. We have several permanent vacancies for Machine Operators across our manufacturing departments. Interviews will take place onsite Monday to Thursday at 10am, 12pm and 2:30pm.

**3 shift rotating pattern which operates as follows**:

- Week 1 Morning shift: 6am to 2:10pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 6am to 12:20pm.
- Week 2 Night shift: 10pm to 6:10am Sunday to Thursday.
- Week 3 Afternoon shift: 2pm to 10:10pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 12:10pm to 18:30pm
**Starting Salary for 3 shift pattern**:

- £11.35 per hour inclusive of 20% shift allowance (£9.46 basic pay).
- £21,848.36 salary per year inclusive of 20% shift allowance.
- After 3 to 6 months of training you will be signed off and receive a further salary increase relevant to the role.

- 33 days Holiday per Holiday year with a 2 week shutdown in August and a week shutdown at year end.
**Duties**:

- To operate a designated process in line with procedures on a continuous production line.
- To ensure that the machine is in a safe working condition and that health and safety rules are always adhered to.
- To complete all appropriate line documentation.
- To maintain the performance of the machine whilst meeting set KPIs in relation to waste and quality targets.
- Making sure that quality checks and standards are adhered to; and
- Looking at process improvements to operate more efficiently to increase productivity and reduce waste.
**Key attributes/skills/knowledge**:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Machine operating experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail with excellent visual checking abilities.
- Numeracy and literacy skills - to be able read and follow instructions.
- Able to work on own initiative, supervised and as part of a team;
- Maintain high levels of quality and safety checks to meet company requirements; and
- Effective problem-solving skills.
