**Job Summary**:
Are you a flexible, multi-skilled Painter with a strong attention to detail? Do you have experience working with power tooling, solvents, primer paints, and ensuring top-quality finishes? GKN Aerospace in Filton, Bristol is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team to help deliver cutting-edge aerospace solutions

**How You'll Contribute**:
As a Painter, your role will include a variety of tasks, ensuring maximum effectiveness and efficiency in all operations. Your duties will include:

- Right First Time - Ensure parts are produced to the highest standards, meeting quality expectations.
- Equipment Calibration - Ensure that any calibrated equipment used is within date.
- Work Phase Clearance - Use the SAP system to ensure the timely clearance of work phases.
- Non-Conformance Reporting - Highlight any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader.
- Quality Procedures - Adhere to GKN Aerospace’s strict quality procedures.
- Health & Safety - Maintain responsibility for Health & Safety in accordance with Section 7 of the HASAWA 1974.
- Export Control - Champion compliance with the site’s Technology Control Plan (TCP) to ensure adherence to Export Control Regulations, training, and systems.
- Comply with risk assessments and all relevant Environment, Health & Safety procedures.
- Report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses according to company procedures and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping within your designated work area.

**What You'll Bring**:
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience with spraying, paint touch-up, and cleaning in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with power tools, solvents, and primer paints.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with colleagues.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and quality procedures.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and compliance.
