About the role

As a Retail Sales Supervisor at our Nottingham store, you'll be responsible supporting the Store Manager in managing a team of Retail Sales Advisors to grow profitable sales through our retail sales channel. You'll play a huge part in developing the store teams performance, creating an excellent team who deliver excellent, world class customer service and experience.

Don’t worry if you don’t know much about the health and safety industry or personal protective equipment (PPE), as we’ll teach you all there is to know, and provide you with a platform to learn, develop and grow.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering outstanding customer service through a fully engaged and motivated team in the absence of the Store Manager, and managing the teams time effectively to ensure that the store delivers their daily tasks and targets
- Plan and deliver daily tasks through presenting a morning team brief with the Store Manager and inputting into and supporting the manager in delivering the stores business plan
- Ensuring health and safety procedures and store compliance are adhered to under the guidance of the Store Manager
- Supporting the manager in ensuring the store is merchandised in line with agreed group plans/ principles and monitoring, analysing and suggesting appropriate actions to help deliver financial targets
- Being accountable for stock management procedures in branch and ensuring that the Store Manager is kept informed of any problems in line with the stock management policy
- Dealing with customer complaints/ issues in the absence of the Store Manager

About you

The ideal Retail Sales Supervisor will be/have:

- Previous experience in delivering outstanding customer service
- Has experience of delivering outstanding visual merchandising standards
- Good working knowledge of IT systems
- An excellent knowledge of our products and systems (desirable)
- Possess experience in working in an assisted sales environment
- Has experience of scheduling and control looping tasks for a small to medium size team
