Veterinary Receptionist
**Shift pattern Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm-6pm with potential Saturdays at Luton on a rota basis.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks
- Process payments for services rendered and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their needs and concerns
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
