**£600-£700 PER DAY**

**6 MONTH CONTRACT**

**REMOTE/CENTRAL LONDON**

This position as a Data Governance Manager allows you to operate within a financial consultancy based in central London. The company specialises in Data & Analytics for various financial service companies. You will be working B2C, within a large MerchantBank. The Data Governance Manager will be overseeing the improvement of an existing Data Governance system, and will be leading and delivering this project. As a Data Governance Manager, you will have the opportunity to enhance your CV and gain experienceworking within a dynamic forward-thinking business.

**THE COMPANY**

This Dynamic consultancy has already achieved great success in a very short space of time within the UK. They have built up an exceptional clientele list and work with globally recognised retail banks and insurance brokers, meaning you will gain experienceoperating within them, via B2C co-option. Their increased demand in recent years has meant they now require a strong bench of Data & Analytic professionals who can represent their company to a high standard.

**THE ROLE**

The Data Governance Manager will be responsible for overseeing Data Governance system upgrade. As a Data Governance Manager the role will involve:

- Assessing Data Governance within Tech-Risk, and understanding Data Governance requirements.
- Understanding whether the existing system is compliant with regulations and how the data is stored and handled.
- Project manage the entire process with end-to-end delivery of the new system.
- Develop Data Governance policy for the entirety of the project.

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
As a Data Governance Manager you will be required to have the following experience:

- Extensive commercial experience in a Senior Data Governance position.
- Multiple examples of Data Governance projects you have overseen and delivered to a high standard.
- A financial services background is a necessity.
- Project management experience is highly desirable.
