We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our friendly team at Village Pharmacy in Coventry

As a pharmacy apprentice you will help with the day to day running of a busy dispensary and retail area, which will include:

- working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the dispensary
- dispensing prescriptions,
- answering patient/prescriber/supplier queries,
- building relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers and other healthcare professionals,
- efficiently organising workload and dispensary layout to ensure efficiency,
- maintaining stock control and cost effective purchasing,
- maintaining dispensary cleanliness and standards
- managing our patients and care home monitored dosage systems dispensing,
- assist in delivering enhanced/advanced/private patient services
- to assist in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperwork
- Be willing to undertake level 2 NVQ, BTEC or Diploma in pharmacy service skills and pharmaceutical science provided by the company
- Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent team working skills and ability to lead.
- High level of IT literacy
- Role involves lots of customer interaction.

Full Time

**Salary**: £10,290.54-£35,017.47 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
