The Biology Teacher Role:
As a Biology Teacher at this school, you will be teaching Biology to pupils in KS3 and KS4 across the national curriculum up to GCSE level. This is the full Biology Teacher role, so includes planning, marking and assessments. You will also need to effectivelymanage challenging behaviour, ensuring pupils are engaged and pastoral support is provided where required. It is important that you can build a strong rapport with your students and understand their individual needs.
The Biology Teacher:
For this Biology Teacher position, you must be a qualified Biology Teacher with experience working with challenging behaviour, SEMH needs and SEN. Ideally, you will have previously taught in an Alternative Provision (or a similar setting, such as a Pupil ReferralUnit). You should be a Biology Teacher with a good understanding of additional needs and a dynamic personality with a desire to help students overcome barriers to education.
