**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a manual fly press to perform pressing, punching, or forming operations of parts.
- Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and production instructions.
- Set up tooling and dies in the press according to required specifications.
- Monitor the quality of output to ensure parts meet required tolerances and finish.
- Make minor adjustments to press and tooling as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the fly press and associated tools.
- Follow all workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Record production data, including quantities, defects, and time taken.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience operating a manual fly press or similar mechanical press machine.
- Willing to travel between 2 locations (sister sites) B7 4EN & B62 8EG
- Basic understanding of processes and materials.
- Ability to read drawings and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, verniers).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good physical condition; able to stand for long periods and handle manual labour.
- Understanding of and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Driving licence.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
