Pyramid Mentoring is a small mentoring company established several years ago.

We are committed to person centered thinking, respect, choice and dignity for the young people we mentor.

As our company grows, we are looking for additional members of staff to join the team in this part time and flexible role.

As a Mentor you will be responsible for motivating, guiding and supporting a client on a 1-2-1 basis helping them to live as full a life as possible. This may be in a school or home setting or supporting transition from school to post 16 education/apprentiships.
- **Due to the nature of the role, the hours available are varied and flexible and can be as few or as many as fits around your other commitments and the needs of your clients starting at a minimum of 2 hours per week per client.**_

**You will be be**:

- Pro active, enthusiastic, with good caring for people skills
- Able to work both on your own and as part of a team.
- Patient, Non judgmental, empathetic and resilient

**You will have**:

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Access to a computer and be proficient in Excel and Word
- A full clean driving license, access to a car and business insurance

It is desirable that you have experience or training in supporting vulnerable people, mental health, social care and autism although full training will be given.

Hourly rate: £10.93 to £12.27 (depending on qualifications and experience) plus holiday entitlement in addition (£12.25 - £13.75).
