**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during meal preparation and cooking processes.
- Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques into meal preparation when appropriate.
- Shifts between 9am-2 pm Monday-Sunday (2 weekends in a month)

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A culinary qualification or relevant training is an advantage but not essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.45-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
