**Technical Lead (DevOps / AWS) - London (Remote Based)**

**Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + fantastic benefits and excellent pension.**

**Primary Purpose of Role**:
Within this role you will be the technical lead on a core product that is the first of it’s kind in the world. You will provide technical leadership at a design level with the ability to work in a cross functional environment, interacting with Product Managers,Technical Architects and the Senior Leadership team. You will be a technical engineer first and foremost, passionate about technology, with the ability to see the bigger picture but also still be keen to maintain your hands on skills, offering guidance aroundbest practice and mentoring and coaching other Engineers.

On a technical level, you’ll be someone that enjoys working with AWS and tools like Terraform, Ansible and Jenkins. You’ll have good exposure to Lambda functions be comfortable scripting in Python, Bash or Shell. You’re someone that champions DevOps cultureand is passionate and strives for efficiency, embracing automation and constantly assessing new tools and languages as they’re released.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your technical experience will have seen you develop the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of AWS, ideally with Certification.
- Experience with IaC build tools, e.g; Terraform.
- Experience with server config and automation tools, e.g; Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools with the ability to build and manage pipelines.
- Knowledge of agile delivery in a DevOps environment.
- Good leadership skills with the ability to manage upwards and own a technical roadmap.
- An understanding of architecture, governance and the formal review process.
- A Cloud led approach to design with previous experience harnessing AWS to manage large datasets
- Knowledge of Python / React with API architecture skills.
