Relief Security Officer

**Job description**

**Shifts / Hours**:
To cover nights/days where needed. Start/Finish times will be discussed at interview.

**Main Purpose of the Job**

We are looking for an efficient and self-motivated individual to work on our client’s prestigious site in Hull’s University Main Campus & Library sites. You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team. Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

**Roles / Responsibilities**:

- Deliver a consistent and professional standard of customer service in a professional setting
- Dealing with fire alarms and following procedures
- Carry out routine patrols
- Locking and unlocking and alarming premises
- Responding to first aid incidents
- Responding to flood alerts
- Responding to maintenance emergency’s
- Completion of detailed incident reports.
- Using KIMs software.
- On line E learning courses
- Liaison with local authorities
- Checking visitor ID
- Liaising with Main Campus/Lawns/BJL
- Control room/CCTV duties
- Over time is available

**Qualification and Experience**
- A valid front-line SIA Licence is essential for the role examples are Door Supervisor, Security Guarding or Close Protection
- Full UK drivers’ licence with access to your own vehicle would be desirable but not essential.
