We are very excited to offer the position of Data Steward to be based at our head office in Tubney Woods. This is a key role for us within the Group IT team.

You will be tasked with the implementation and maintenance effective solutions to enable the standardisation of controls, stewardship, and management of the organisations data assets.
Helping to provide business users with high quality data and metadata that is fit for purpose and easily accessible in a consistent manner, improving the value of quality information and decreasing the costs associated with non-quality information.
You will be responsible for performing various functions associated with maintaining group data across multiple systems.

**Key responsibilities**:
Conduct a system wide data definition and validation exercise to understand where and how our key data is used
Review data reporting and analytical tools, understanding the different level of roles requiring access with the strategy of streamlining the processes and tools we use
Identify and assist with improving security access to our key data
Maintain data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audit and data validation
Recommend ways to strengthen data integrity, quality, and availability across the enterprise
Build testing plans to manage proposed changes in master data
Assist with design, development, testing, and implementation of new processes and system improvements to ensure that the design meets business requirements whilst improving department efficiency and effectiveness
Provide guidance to the wider business on data sourcing, storage, retention, sharing, and publishing our key data.

This role is a hybrid role with the main location being Tubney Woods. We work 8.00 until 4.30 Monday to Thursday and finish at 1.00 on a Friday so you can start your weekend early.
