Overview
Our client is an award-winning, leading firm of accountants and business advisers, based acrossthe UK and overseas. They are now looking for a full-time Accounts Seniorto join their Accounts and Business Advisory Services team andsupport the delivery ofa range of accounting services for a large portfolio of corporate clients.
About the role
This role would suit an ambitious and professional individual, looking to develop a career in accountancy. Reporting to the Partners and Directors, theAccounts Senior willbe responsible fora variety of clients, including managing and leading the day-to-dayclient contact forbusinesses across a range of different sectors.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Preparing complex accounts for a large portfolio of clients, including annual statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and management accounts;
- Working with senior managers to offeradvice on best practice and provide recommendations for review;
- Liaising with clients to build strong relationships, dealing with queries quickly and efficiently;
- Reviewing accounts prepared by more junior team members;
- Providing advice and mentoring to support the continued professional development of junior staff.
The ideal person
The position would suit an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, who is keen to learn and develop for a successful career in accountancy.
