**Job Overview**
We are looking for Front of house staff to join our friendly team. Would suit Bath University/college students who are available to work a Tuesday Daytime shift from 10 - 5.30 and a weekend shift on Saturday or Sunday.

Helpful to have your own transport to get to and from the restaurant. We provide free parking. We are situated at the bottom of Brassknocker Hill on the A36 roughly a mile from the University of Bath. The bus D1 stops just outside the restaurant ( Bus Stop is called The Viaduct ).

Experience would be good but not essential as we will give training.

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and hospitable environment.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members alike.

Pay: £8.50-£11.53 per hour
