**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate the van in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies encountered during transport.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the van at all times.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar delivery driver role is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driving licence is required.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
