Robertson Bell are partnering with this large public sector organisation whilst they recruit to this permanent Finance Business Partner role. Reporting straight into the Finance Director, this standalone role will offer variety and the chance to partnerwith a diverse range of budget holders.

Duties for this role will include:

- Work closely with senior managers across the organisation ensuring they understand their budgets and stay on track with spending.
- Lead on the monitoring and reporting of budgets.
- Review and revamp current ways of reporting focusing on creating less labour-intensive processes.
- Ensure the organisation views finance as an approachable department.
- Prepare commentary and carry out variance analysis.
- Ensure all reporting is delivered on time and accurately in a clear and concise format.
- Recognise variances and escalate these to the Director of Finance as necessary.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure a collaborative environment.

This full time Finance Business Partner role will ensure relevant financial controls are in place and will play a part in crucial strategic decisions. The role will be based from the organisations head office in Northampton.
- Have proven finance business partner experience or strong management accounting knowledge.
- Be an excellent communicator and the ability to liaise with internal and external staff of all levels.
- Have excellent organisational skills.
- Be solutions driven and a self-starter.
