An outstanding, community driven specialist school situated in Witney is searching for a passionate Learning Support Assistant like YOU to join an already flourishing team.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be based in a classroom at the school and join a team of teaching assistant in supporting the class teacher. Your daily duties will include 1:1 and small group support with the students, helping them through theschool day and keeping them engaged whilst in the class. Personal care and behaviour management may also be required, though you will receive training for this.
Experience working with SEN children and a good understanding of SEN is desired for this role and being confident in working with challenging behaviour is beneficial. This relevant previous experience could include SEN 1:1, helping within an SEN nursery,in a sport setting, in a similar classroom setting or personal/family experience.
