LEARNING DISABILITIES - TEAM LEADER

1 x Day shift Team Leader

2x Night shift Team Leader

Location: Sheffield

**Job Types**: Full-Time 42hours

Days - 2 week rolling rota (12hour shifts with alternative weekends off)

Nights - 12hour shifts (4 on 4 off)

**Salary: £12.34 - £14.59 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).**

About Us:
We are developing a new service for young people with a Learning Disability. This will be a residential setting for 10 people, with a mixture of self-contained living areas and shared living spaces. We require motivated individuals who would like to develop and mentor a small team of staff in supporting the individuals who will reside at the home.

The Role:

- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide personalised care packages for young people with a learning disability aged 16-25.
- Safeguard young people through continued assessment, planning and reviews.
- Supervise and help develop staff to provide the highest standards.
- Support staff and the young people to reach their full potential
- Working alongside the management team to ensure service delivery is of a high standard
- Have a Level 3 Children Residential Childcare or Health and Social Care equivalent.
- Have a Level 2 Team Leader or willing to obtain this once in post
- Have experience working with learning disabilities and have a genuine desire to support others to improve their lives
- Leadership and team working qualities with the willingness to go the extra mile
- Have a positive outlook and motivate the team
- Able to deal with emotional and behavioural difficulties and stay calm under pressure.
- Able to work flexibly, including bank holidays, evenings and weekends
