**About the role**

As Food & Beverage Assistant, you will support the Restaurant and Bar teams to provide an enjoyable and peaceful stay for our guests. Whether they are drinking cocktails in the sun on our terrace, having afternoon tea in our conservatory or dining with our 4 course menu in the restaurant, there is something for every guest at Budock Vean Hotel. We pride ourselves on delivering the best service and we are looking for like minded individuals to join our family

**Your main responsibilities will include**
- Serving customers in the Cocktail Bar, lounges, terrace, and gardens with hot and cold bar drinks and meals during the day and evenings.
- Serving in the restaurant during breakfast, dinner, and Sunday lunch.
- Providing our guests with a high standard of customer service, including taking orders, making drinks, and clearing tables.
- Encouraging repeat bookings.
- Assisting the Bar and Restaurant team in achieving its goals by putting ideas forward.
- Staying up to date with information about food and drink menus and communicating this information to guests.
- Maintaining standards of health and hygiene within the Restaurant and Bar and the wider hotel.
- Maintaining professionalism in personal appearance and cleanliness.

**About you**

With a passion for people and hospitality, you will have the drive to create memorable experiences for our guests You may not have much experience in the industry, but you are willing to learn and take on new challenges, remaining positive and friendly. Wine and mixology experience is preferred, but not essential.
