The client has exciting future growth plans and is looking to hire a strategic, commercial and resultsfocused Finance Director to play a key role in shaping the future success of the business.

Key duties include:

- Lead the finance team to deliver a comprehensive service to the business to help it achieve it’s strategic goals.
- To act as a trusted strategic finance business partner to the board and key stakeholders, to enable sound business decisions are made.
- Work with the management board to formulate and implement a robust financial strategy, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities to increase the profitability of the business.
- Take overall responsibility for financial management to ensure the organisation meets it’s financial and legal obligations.
- Produce robust business plans and analysis, using financial modelling to provide key management information and insights to enable the board to make informed decisions.
- Manage the external relationships with banks, accountants and other acquaintances.
- Liaise with departmental heads and other managers to set the firm’s annual financial budgets and initiating necessary action where departments experience difficulties generating sufficient fee income.
- Line management of the finance team, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Monitor cashflow, banking management and updating of budgets.
- Use fintech to streamline existing process and improve reporting.

You must be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to formulate strategic plans, possess excellent communication and influencing skills and enjoy developing relationships. You will be a problem solver, a lateral thinker, and collaborator with strong leadershipskills.
