D365 F/scm Business Intelligence Lead

Remote with occasional on-site days (2 days per month) 15 month FTC initially £73,200 total package (£60,000 + 10% Bonus + £7,200 car allowance + Benefits) The BI Workstream Lead will work in conjunction with the project team to deliver both Power Platform and BI solutions as part of our customers Digital Transformation Programme. Success for the role will be ensuring that the end solution forms part of a composable strategy integrating both current platforms and newly designed services. **Main responsibilities** - Work with the technical team to critically analyse the existing BI environment and identify the roadmap to migrate to new ways of working based on D365 F/SCM and the Power Platform. - Build a PowerPlatform Centre of Excellence to manage the lifecycle of any new or existing components. Ensure these are fully catalogued, are in alignment to the companies technical governance framework and processes, and that the Centre of Excellence includesa governance framework that ensures all components (and future development) has a robust and structured approval process to aid "citizen development". - Design and deliver a light touch global governance model for PowerPlatform based on solid software development fundamentals and processes. - Manage, and oversee the delivery of our Business Intelligence (BI) and Power Platform environment. This includes both the use of Microsoft technologies and the corporate Tableau ecosystem. - Manage the delivery of individual components (either through Power Apps / Automate or our selected BI platforms (Tableau / Power BI), ensuring that they meet the business requirements and architectural principles. Always ensuring that the user experienceis at the forefront of the design. - Have hands-on capabilities to develop individual components (BI reports / Power Apps etc.) within agreed timescales where required. - Collaborate and work closely with the Data Migration Lead on the data strategy and approach to ensure that the data environment, dataverse and integration platform meet business requirements to move data seamlessly around an ecosystem that enables visualisationand workflow through the platform. - Work closely with 3rd party and internal Architects on the design (HLD and LLD), and implementation of solutions. - Deliver "As-Built" documentation and knowledge articles to ensure that the BI workstream and environment can be handed over during service transition to include support and maintenance requirements. - Manage internal BI Developers, Power Platform Developers and maintain oversight of 3rd party developers from external providers or our parent company. - Design and deliver a governance framework that ensures all components (and future development) has a robust and structured approval process **Key Skills, and experience**: - Expertise around the Microsoft technology stack, specifically D365 F/SCM, dataverse, Power Platform, Power BI and Tableau. - Experience and skills to develop on the Power Platform and PowerBI / Tableau. - A strong understanding and proven track record in the configuration, delivery and management of cloud-based BI technologies; specifically expertise in the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, Attunity, Snowflake & Tableau. - An understanding of Dell Boomi iPaaS technology. - A strong technology background in a complex manufacturing environment (CPG/FMCG). - An exceptional communicator and influencer with demonstratable abilities to engage stakeholders (technical and non-technical) and gain buy-in for decisions and approaches. - Exceptional analytic skills with the ability to quickly understand business processes and technical requirements and then combine both for the most appropriate solution. - A brilliant people manager capable of getting the best out of direct reports and third-party developers. - Proficiency in one or more development language and SQL Computer Futures, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy | Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 Englandand Wales
