**ROLE**:Family intervention Supervisor

**LOCATION: Islington**

**Hours**:
Part time - Thursday and Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm

**Main Objective**

We are launching a new service model designed to support separated families in building and sustaining meaningful relationships. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to take ownership of this service, shaping its development and leading its growth from the ground up.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Take full ownership of the delivery and growth of this new service, ensuring it is responsive to local needs and aligned with Swan Family’s values.
- Pro-actively develop knowledge of the family support landscape, including legal and statutory frameworks, and associated risks, challenges, and priorities.
- Work in partnership with CAFCASS and other key stakeholders.
- Support families in overcoming barriers to positive contact and communication.
- Help parents understand the impact of conflict on their children.
- Support children to re-establish relationships with the parent they do not live with.
- Manage your own caseload and work directly with families throughout their journey.
- Ensure all reports and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Attend and contribute to workshops, service development meetings, and CPD opportunities.
- Lead local business development activity, building relationships with courts, solicitors, and local authorities to promote the service and secure contracts for private family time, including Out of Borough referrals.
- Identify and act on new opportunities for service growth and sustainability.

**Skills**
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative in developing and growing a new service.
- Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident in engaging with professionals at all levels and representing the service externally.

**Essential Requirements**
- NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification related to children or young people.
- Experience of working directly with families in a support or intervention role.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional networks.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour
