Our model of practice:
Working in our organisation means bringing your whole self and embracing our therapeutic model of practice, through engaging in training and the key elements of our model you will learn and grow as a reflective practitioner, attendance at the following is a key part of your role and mandatory:
- Training
- Reflective practice groups
- Supervision
- Clinical Case Reviews
Shift Pattern:
Experience a work schedule designed for balance and flexibility Our shift hours are from 7:40 am to 8:00 pm, following a two-week pattern:
- Week 1 (long week): Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (4 days)
- Week 2 (short week): Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3 days)
Enjoy every other weekend off while still averaging 42 hours per week. This pattern not only ensures a healthy work-life balance but also reduces travel time and costs. Plus, there's an opportunity to pick up overtime during your short week if desired.
The main purpose of this role is to support the effective care of the Children in the home by carrying out duties assigned by the Leadership Team. The key responsibility will be to assist in the delivery of an outstanding therapeutically informed service for our Children & Young People. The role may be required to support more than one service depending on business needs.
**Person Specification**
**Essential Requirements**:
minimum 2 years’ experience working in Residential Childcare.
Over 22 Year’s old.
A motivation to work therapeutically with Children.
To be available for sleep-in duties if required.
IT Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to form positive relationships with children.
Ability to participate in a range of activities with enthusiasm in the context of the role.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
**Preferred Requirements**:
Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce/Children’s Residential Diploma (achieved or currently undertaking).
Able to drive with a clear Driving Licence.
Experience working in a Therapeutic provision.
Working and supporting children with social and emotional needs.
Attendance and partaking in child focused meetings such as CIC reviews.
