CK Group are recruiting for a Procurement specialist to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes, based in Swindon on a on a contract basis for 6 months.**Salary**:
Competitive**Procurement specialist Role**:

- Proactively assesses risk and implements mitigation plans to minimize potential impact of supplier shortages in order to guarantee and deliver Business Continuity.
- Clear knowledge and understanding of supply market, industry and category dynamics
- A successful record in planning, leading and driving results in complex negotiations
- Integrates with GPO, including Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Capital, CSR/D&I, and PMO to ensure regions are aligned with GPO initiatives.
- Ensures site procurement is engaged and aligned with internal customers/stakeholders, gaining stakeholder and leadership support at the site.

**Your Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain or comparable disciplines or CIPS, MCIPS or supply chain qualification.
- Experience within Pharmaceuticals
- Risk management/Contract management
- Progressive international experience and career advancement in procurement or comparable function or equitant
