**Apprentice Sales Administrator**
An exciting opportunity has arisen, we are now recruiting for an Apprentice Sales Administrator to join our busy and vibrant team at our Team Valley site.
Your role will be to work within the Sales Administration Department, to help with the smooth and efficient running of the department, in order that the department meets its targets and the Company its objectives.
To carry out all administrative tasks surrounding the sale of vehicles.
You will carry out this full-time role while completing a Business Administration Apprenticeship.
**Main responsibilities**:
- To carry out various administration tasks within the department
- To carry out all duties in an efficient and courteous manner and ensure all queries are dealt with promptly
- To attend company/MBUK meetings and training courses as and when appropriate
- To adhere to company/MBUK methods of work
- To ensure that all paperwork associated with the department is completed correctly and passed on to the correct department on time
- To adhere to time schedules and all targets where appropriate
- To assist the Sales Administrator as required
- To liaise with sales team for workshop and outworks on sold vehicles
- To invoice vehicles when required new and used
- To carry out filing and general upkeep of vehicle files
- To arrange PDI of vehicles and liaise with PDI team
- To check in vehicles when necessary
- To wear an appropriate uniform if available and to present a smart appearance at all times
- To answer all incoming calls on the switchboard as promptly as possible, always in an efficient, helpful and pleasant manner and transfer to appropriate personnel - taking messages and ensuring they are passed to correct person, if necessary
- To carry out any other duties as may be required by the company/MBUK in order to assist the company achieve its objectives
**Other Duties/ Involvement**:
- To work safely and efficiently within the company’s Health & Safety Policy
- To keep the working area of the postholder tidy i.e the whole of the reception area and customer waiting area
- To ensure that you carry out all your work legally
- To comply with the Company risk assessment strategies
- To produce sub contract orders and liaise with contractors
- To adhere to BTS complaint procedures and ensure that all customer queries and problems are dealt with as speedily as possible and passed on to the appropriate line manager
- To keep the advertising publication websites up to date (eg Autotrader) by uploading and removing vehicle photos as required
- To maintain locator system daily
- To send specs of new vehicles to MB together with any changes
- To arrange vehicle ordering both on computer and manually
- To arrange stock transfers /swaps
- To arrange vehicle movements
- To arrange used vehicle taxation
- To produce warranty documentation
- To make damage claims down the line for transit
