This is an exciting role available for a Management Accountant, pivotal to supporting the company as a whole and providing financial management information. This is a multi-faceted role dealing with internal and external customers and covering a wide rangeof business areas, from Wine and Classic Cars to Plant and Machinery. This is a fast-paced selling environment and you will work with great clients and engaged colleagues who strive to achieve their business goals.

Location: Madley, Herefordshire, site based.

**Key duties**:

- Preparing analysis of performance for senior managers and directors.
- Responsibility for preparing income statements and other financial documents.
- Monitoring information systems and financial performance and identifying issues and propose solutions to local managers.
- Analysing large amounts of data and condensing data into actionable information by management
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT submission.
- Creation and posting of accrual, prepayment and other relevant journals.
- Liaison with foreign clients on goods exports.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounting entries.
- Responsibility for the accuracy of financial information.
- Continuous improvement project work to identify potential improvements, recommend proposals and implement solutions.

**Essential**:

- An accountancy qualification (Qualified preferred, but will consider Part qualified with experience)
- Highly proficient computer skills (MS Office required, training will be given on we use in house software and cloud-based Oracle financials)
