**About the role**

At Sodexo we are passionate about food and we place our patients at the heart of everything we do. To deliver a great service, we have a team of passionate **Catering Assistants** behind us and we are looking for grow our team.

To keep our kitchens running like clockwork you'll assist with food preparation and cleaning. You'll also ensure that the kitchen areas and equipment are always kept clean and hygienic at all times.

With a focus on cleaning you'll use the dishwasher to wash up the crockery and cutlery, always ensuring your work areas are glistening

**A few things about you**
This is a customer facing role so it’s important to have a positive, friendly attitude. You will work as part of a team and will need to have strong communication skills.

Experience working in a similar industry (i.e. food service, catering or hospitality) would be great but generally customer service and food handling experience will tick the box

If you have previous experience working in a cleaning team that would be great But if you have customer service experience and good attention to detail we still want to hear from you

A general knowledge of health and safety procedures is also required, with knowledge of basic food hygiene and cleaning.

**30** hours per week

**£9.50** per hour (20% weekend **pay enhancement**)

**Permanent **Part Time

**Working**: 7.00am - 1.30pm; working 5 on, 3 off; 6 on and 2 off over a 7 week rolling rota
