Overview:
**PS Consultant**

**location: Chesterfield**

**About the role**:
Merlin ERP software solution for our clients.
This role requires a blend of technical acumen, customer-focused consulting, and project management capabilities to help clients achieve their business objectives through effective use of the Merlin platform.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, objectives, and challenges. You’ll be comfortable in a client-facing environment, with a problem solving mindset.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments to map client requirements to software capabilities and provide expert guidance on best practices and Merlin ERP functionalities.
- Lead and execute software implementations, including installation, configuration, and testing.
- Develop customised solution designs tailored to client-specific requirements.
- Lead the design and deployment of integrations with third-party systems.
- Create project timelines, scope definitions, and resource plans in coordination with client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional services environment or a similar role within a software company.
- Proficient in software configuration, implementation methodologies, and data migration tools.
- Experience with SQL is advantageous.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively.

**Other Requirements**:

- This role is an excellent fit for a proactive, client-focused professional with a solid technical background and a strong commitment to delivering value through software solutions.
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week), based in our Chesterfield office (4 days per week).
- Regular travel required to client sites across the UK (approx. 25%).
- A full UK driving license is required
