Full time /part time waiter or waitress required for busy high street cafe in Christchurch. **Must have left education and be available to work some days across weekdays & weekends.**
We are a busy cafe/restaurant based directly on Christchurch high street, serving exceptional coffee, cakes and hot and cold foods. The cafe was established in 1991, and currently staff around 12 employees both full time and part time.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- **Greet customers on arrival, with a welcoming, engaging and attentive manner. You will then show them to a table and advise them of our system within the cafe.
- Clear tables and clean down thoroughly following the guidelines set by management. Ensuring the cafe looks its best at all times.
- Talk to customers about our menu, and what we have to offer. Demonstrating excellent customer care.
- Liaise and work alongside other members of the team continuously, showing a strong team ethic.
- Willingness to learn how to create our delicious coffee and take orders on the till system promptly.
- Take food to tables promptly, assess customer's needs and ensure they are met.
**Experience is essential and additional training will be provided. Both full time and part time hours are available and ability to work weekends is a must.**
