**Tezlom** are looking for a well qualified **Team Leader **for a group of established Childrens home in **Dyserth.**

You will act as a positive role model to your staff and vulnerable children aged 8-16 years of age, this therapeutic home is a very child centred environment where children can recover from their experiences of abuse, trauma & family breakdown**.**

We provide clinical support care and education placement stability to children with complex needs who may have experienced multiple placement breakdowns.

You will Provide Leadership, direction and support to your allocated shift team to ensure excellent child centred therapeutic care is delivered as part of an intergrated service.

**Shifts include 2 on 4 off**

**Responsibilities**:

- Acting as a leader and role model when on shift abd taking lead responsibility for the home in absence of the Registered Manager or Deputy Care Manager.
- To act in a manner that is always in line with Social Care Wales Code of Practice and the organisations Values.
- To contribute to delivery of an excellent standard of therapeutic parenting
- To contribute to the development and implementation of the child’s Behaviour Support Plan and ensure they are adhered to by your allocated shift.
- To establish and maintain positive professional working relationships with therapy and education colleagues in order to meet the holistic needs of the child
- To maintain all relevant records pertaining to fire safety, health & safety, and other records when on duty
- To role model and develop in others flexibility where practicably possible to support the home in covering rotas
- To communicate positively and constructively about the children, colleagues, and organisation at all times, providing feedback to individuals and like manager.

**Requirements**:

- **Must have Full UK Driving Licence (essential)**:

- **Due to the nature of this role you MUST be over 21 years of age (essential)**:

- **NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young people or equivalent (essential)**:

- **Minimum 2 years experience within residential Care Setting (essential)**:

- **Registered with Social Care Wales (desirable)**

**Salary**: £23,712.00-£29,382.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare (preferred)

Work Location: One location
