**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support patients in daily living activities such as eating and toileting.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the patient care area.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Empathy and compassion for providing quality patient care.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare practices is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally within the role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
