We are looking for a results-focused publisher to implement and coordinate special collection commissioning across our STM journals.
**About the role**
You will lead the content acquisition strategy and best practice for STM journals at Cambridge, through personally managing special collections and through supporting and coordinating your publishing team colleagues in doing so. You will be expected to
- Deliver a strategy for building journal content through special collections.
- Personally identify topics and guest editors for a selection of journals.
- Establish good practice for the publishing team, setting targets, providing direction, and giving support.
- Engage with external editorial teams about the value and effectiveness of special collections.
- Develop systems and processes for monitoring and streamlining special collections activity.
**About you**
You will have a solid understanding through hands-on experience of the value of special collections in journal publishing, bringing your own awareness of the article commissioning strategies of competitors to development of our strategy.
Your confidence and team-working skills will inspire your colleagues to be fully aligned with you in our content acquisition approach.
