Situated in the charming area of Pinkhill, Manor Grange Care Home provides outstanding Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 83 residents. Purpose built to combine comfort, safety and elegance, our home is a place where residents feel truly cared for and where our team members are valued and supported every day.

We are now looking for a compassionate, reliable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you have a warm heart, a caring nature and a passion for helping others, this could be the ideal next step in your care career.

**What we offer**:

- £12.70 per hour
- Contracted full time, part time and flexible hours available
- Paid PVG, pension scheme and SSSC registration cost covered
- Free uniform and onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

**What you will do**:

- Empower independence - Support residents with daily routines while promoting their autonomy and decision making
- Deliver personalised care - Follow tailored care plans with compassion and attention to detail
- Safeguard health and wellbeing - Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report changes to nursing or clinical leadership
- Champion dignity and respect - Ensure residents always feel valued, respected and safe
- Encourage social interaction - Help create a warm, inclusive environment where residents feel connected
- Maintain safety and comfort - Keep living spaces clean and safe, responding promptly to call bells or emergencies
- Support nutrition and hydration - Assist residents during mealtimes and monitor dietary needs
- Bring joy - Be a friendly, uplifting presence who helps residents feel at ease and smile each day

**What we are looking for**:

- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred
- Ideally 6 months of previous experience as a Care Assistant - although transferable skills and the right attitude are just as important
- A passion for caring for older people and helping them live well
- A kind, respectful and team focused approach to your work
