**Learning Support Assistant - SEN - Near Bicester, Oxfordshire**
Are you looking for an opportunity to build a rewarding career whilst also supporting vulnerable children? Do you have experience working with children and are looking for a challenge?
An excellent opportunity has become available for a classroom support assistant supporting SEN children in a school in near Bicester. This is a great position to gain some hands on experience working directly with vulnerable students.
These young students struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD and various other developmental disorders and need classroom support. These young people need someone who can facilitate a positive and safe environment for them to learn and growwhilst building on their self
- esteem. You will gain valuable experience in the sector and have the chance to shadow other professionals in the field.
Your daily duties will vary day to day, however your general duties will involve helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health whilst also aiding their learning. The role would suit someone who is resilient and confident in managingbehaviour.
Within this role, it is important that you are resilient, patient, understanding and approachable for you to be supportive to the child. It is vital you have an understanding of safeguarding and understand that any concerns need to be reported correctlyfor the best interest of the child.
Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential. Those with a background in a related field will be considered.
