This is a permanent post in our developing CAMHS CBT pathway and is part of a wider, well established Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). We are dedicated to providing a high-quality CBT service that complements the work of our wider CAMHS colleagues.

Sussex CAMHS is at the beginning of a crucial and innovative expansion, which will see a substantial amount of growth in a variety of teams. This post will be based in Worthing CAMHS in West Sussex

As part of this expansion we have funding to recruit to a number of new posts in our CBT pathway, providing community CAMHS support for young people and their families/ carers.

As a Childrens Wellbeing Practitioner in our team you will help provide brief CBT based, self-management interventions as part of our expanding CBT pathway, working with young people experiencing moderate mental health conditions including anxiety and depression.

You will be joining a strong multi-disciplinary team and will receive high standards of supervision from an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist or CBT Therapist. You will also be part of a wider Sussex Psychology team, contributing to our innovation and commitment to ongoing service improvement and compassionate care.

We provide mental health and learning disability care for children, young people and adults across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
In order to be a successful Band 5 CWP in our team you will have:

- Postgraduate certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies (PWP/CWP qualification)
- Proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
- A passion for working within a developing CBT pathway

**It would also be advantageous if you**:

- Are experienced working in CAMHS (Children and Young People’s mental health services)

Flexibility with working patterns is desirable as we may extend the hours of our service to include some weekend and evening work

SPFT staff have the capacity to work from home remotely where applicable and in agreement with your line manager.
