**Job Overview**

We are looking for an Asset Engineer/Surveyor to undertake asset and condition surveys across our Head Office Estate. The role is responsible for assisting with activities to inform the asset management function; and specifically, the development and ongoing management of asset data held within the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM).

**Key Accountabilities**

Working as a team, you will complete accurate and timely surveys/ verifications of M&E services/assets identifying and recording type, model, serial number, location, age, condition, operational status etc

Maintain accurate records of all site visits

Attend project meetings and participate in working groups or departmental meetings as required.

Be able to assess asset condition quickly & reasonably without intrusive or invasive inspections Identify all critical plant equipment for running the Head Office Estate.

Update the CAFM system to reflect the on-site status of assets in accordance with the asset taxonomy.

Help support the development of the asset taxonomy to ensure a consistent approach to asset data collection is undertaken and appropriate information is obtained to support future investment and/or maintenance decision.

Support the implementation of asset data tagging, utilising the latest technologies to provide a swift, reliable process for identifying assets, supporting investment decision based on failure rates and provide the ability to undertake future surveillance audits to ensure data quality.

**Knowledge**
- Ideally you will be an established M&E professional with extensive building services knowledge, although previous building/asset experience would be sufficient for the role.
- A good understanding of Asset Management Principals would be advantageous
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, power BI

**Skills**
- A proven track record of experience undertaking asset building surveys and asset conditioning
- M&E expertise on asset maintenance
- You will need to be sufficiently competent in Excel and be able to manipulate, validate and interpret data and have a good understanding of asset data management protocols.

**Experience**
- This role will suit someone coming from a maintenance environment, perhaps as a PPM / Reactive Engineer or Asset
- Surveyor with a rounded knowledge and understanding of building systems and infrastructure.
- Experience of working within a CAFM system would be beneficial for the role.
- Experience of a wide range of property types covering a spectrum of ages and building services / functionalities and Experience of data analysis
