At Masterclass, we have been tasked in recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a wonderful school in the Worthing area. They provide a happy and safe environment where the children can thrive in their education. They have an amazing outdoor area to expand the children’s learning as well as a forest and beach school.

The school are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who has the skills to develop into a valued member of staff for the individual needs of the children. You will be working with small groups of students in and out of formal lessons, with support from Teachers and other staff. You will be fully immersed into the life of the school and encouraged to be proactive in your role alongside your colleagues.

**Job role**:

- **To support the children’s development across all areas of their development**:

- **Support and encourage positive behaviour management**:

- **Work with groups of children or individuals (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons.**:

- **Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling children to feel relaxed and happy**:

- **To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school**:

- **To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be**:

- **To be able to provide personal care and moving and handling if needed**

Masterclass Education work exclusively with a large amount of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across the area who look for MCE staff to be with them on daily cover, short and long term contracts. Masterclass are a part of the REC and Crown Commercial Service, offering the most valued and trusted service.

**How to Apply**:
**Salary**: £320.00-£340.00 per week

- Worthing, West Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
