Saturday Retail Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and well presented individual to work for our destination home interiors and gifts boutique in central Bedford
- Present a consistent face of IMPAKT Housing & Support to our customers, Create a welcoming, customer centered atmosphere that will drive repeat visits and customer retention.
- Be a keyholder
- Develop strong product knowledge including an understanding of the features and benefits of each product range to help maximize sales opportunities
- Ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and regulations
- Supporting our finance team by ensuring adherence to our financial policies for the control of daily takings.
- Helping to plan and execute an engaging calendar of in store events and activity
- Social Media content creation
- Following our best practices for stock management, stock rotation, sales presentation and pricing
- Maintaining a fully stocked and well presented sales area to support sales targets
- Online sales administration
Part Time - to work on a Saturday 9.15am - 5.15pm
(Extra hours available to cover staff holidays and the festive shopping period)
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 per week

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
- Bedford, MK40: Relocate before starting work (required)
