Summary We’re looking for a Holidays Operation Assistant Manager to assist the Holidays Leadership Team in the efficient delivery of their Holidays portfolio.

**The hours**: 37.5 hours per week.

**The salary**: £21,684 per annum

You will assist the Cornwall leadership team headed by the Area Manager supported by four Holidays Managers and their teams in the smooth and efficient delivery of our quality holidays business in Cornwall. Please note this role covers all of Cornwall, assuch the base location is negotiable.

From fishermen’s cottages, a castle, converted barns, schoolhouses, dairies, lodges and a water tower, to cosy countryside cottages and historic mansion apartments,each one is unique.

They visit Cornwall to enjoy the unspoilt coast with its imposing headlands, hidden coves and sandy beaches and in the knowledgethat their chosen cottage meets and exceeds their expectation.

Many of our cottages are close to the South West coastal path, providing the opportunity to leave the car and head off on foot to enjoy the magnificent landscapes.

What you'll be doing You will ensure consistent delivery of the operation across the area and achieve high levels of visitor satisfaction. The role is largely desk-based but there will be days when you will be out and about visiting the holiday cottages and travelling in ourwidespread portfolio.

You will offer effective business support, diary management, scheduling and organising meetings, raising purchase orders, and all-round team support. Having a can do, friendly attitude to assist the smooth operation within the Cornwall wide portfolio. Therole will require someone who has experience and skill in administrative tasks, can enjoy varied work from taking the lead on small projects such as refreshing our welcome information to maintaining and improving databases and meeting deadlines. The role isdiverse and your support and competency in administration is key.

Supporting the growth of new cottages, you may assist with the fit out and set up of new or refurbished cottages having them ready to go online. Ordering goods and preparing guest information and other tasks associated with opening a new cottage.

You will work closely and support the Area Manager to prepare Cornwall wide meetings and work well with our stakeholders. You will attend leadership meetings and take minutes.

Who we're looking for You will need to be:

Great at customer service for both our internal and external customers
A great communicator with all relevant stakeholders and work closely with the Cornwall wide Holidays team.
Understand the need for detail, quality and presentation and enjoy the world of Holidays.
Super organised, efficient, and able to prioritise your own workload.
Helpful and approachable and have great people skills.
Understanding of the National Trust and what we do.
Keen to be confident in National Trust systems, policies and procedures, including IT-based systems
A clear communicator with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
