*Overview*

*Responsibilities*
- Plan, organise, and oversee a variety of recreational activities for residents
- Develop and implement activity programs tailored to residents' needs and interests
- Coordinate outings and events within the care home and local community
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities are inclusive and beneficial to residents
- Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and resident participation
- Liaise with family and friends of residents so promote ongoings of activities in the home

*Requirements*
- Previous experience in a similar role within a nursing home or assisted living environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Understanding of dementia care principles and best practices
- Ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents
- A caring and compassionate nature with a interest in enhancing residents' quality of life
- Bring fun and enthusiasm attitude into the home
- Full enhanced DBS check to be done at applicants expense

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
