Electrical Design Engineer

**BRIEF OUTLINE**

I am helping my client a leading company to hire a Design Engineer in Electrical services. This isa great opportunity to join a team of engineers working on high profile and complex projects. You can experience a work with highly skilled professionalsand securesome terrific project experience on a full time.

**ABOUT THE CLIENT**

Our client is predominately involved in industrial installations, maintenance and repairs; they specialize in Hotels and Leisure, Warehousing and Distribution, Commercial Offices, Health, and Education. Projects are carefully executed by experienced projectmanagers who are directed to offer the highest levels of customer service, co-operation and flexibility.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Prepare drawings for submission to clients
- Ensure the quality and consistency of drawings is maintained and improved
- Liaise closely with project managers / engineers throughout the design process including attending internal design progress meetings
- Received incoming drawings from clients or company staff and to print and/or save as instructed
- Produce required cable calculations and distribution board schedules using Amtech software
- Produce required lighting & emergency lighting calculations using Relux or Dialux software
- Attend Management meetings and report all relevant matters
- Ensure that all applicable and required paperwork is completed, recorded and filed as per company policy and procedures. Ensure paperwork that is company sensitive or related to named individuals is appropriately or confidentially stored or disposed of(ideally involving shredding). All records should have a record retention date or suitable for disposal date, please check before destroying any records
