Are you a fully qualified and time served mechanical engineer? Could you be interested in a teaching position? I am currently working with a client based in Slough that is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Tutor to teach adult learners various short courses in both workshop and classroom environments.

My client provide Mechanical Safe Systems of Work courses that offer high quality training for Authorised and Competent Persons, in order to meet the requirements of a wide range of industries and sectors; including Commercial FM, Healthcare (NHS) and Ministry of Defence (MOD).

My client is willing to take on a qualified engineer with industry experience and support them with teacher training. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.

Full teacher training and qualification provided

**Essential experience and qualifications:

A mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent recognised training programme

A relevant mechanical qualification at QCF level 3 or above

Suitable engineering experience in mechanical or building services discipline

Good knowledge of the operation of safe systems of work

A full driving license and be willing to work away from home for short periods (all costs covered)

My client provide Mechanical Safe Systems of Work courses that offer high quality training for Authorised and Competent Persons, in order to meet the requirements of a wide range of industries and sectors; including Commercial FM, Healthcare (NHS) and Ministry of Defence (MOD).

This position involves teaching adult learners various short courses in both workshop and classroom environments. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world context.

Pay: £44,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
