(Terms & Conditions apply) With 63 beds and 5 operating theatres, including three laminar flow theatres for orthopedic surgery Spire CambridgeLea Hospital has been providing excellent care, expertise and knowledge in a supportive and progressive environment for over 34 years Duties and responsibilities: Spire Cambridge Lea are looking for a Scrub Theatre Practitioner to join their friendly and supportiveteam. The 5 operating theatres are busy throughout the day, but every day is never the same due to the diversity of the workload, making this theatre department a fantastic place to work. You will scrub for major orthopaedics cases; joint replacements, hips,knees and spinal. This is a full-time role covering 37.5 hours a week, working on a rota and 1:4 weekends Who we're looking for: Be NMC/HCPC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions Experience of working within an acute hospitalsetting with a minimum of 2 years' experience with orthopaedics. Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care Working as part of the Theatre Team to provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care. Strong communication skillsParticipate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.
