We are a respected medical training and consultancy company based in the heart of Herefordshire. We’re looking for a practical, reliable, and friendly individual to join our small team in a dual role combining housekeeping and catering.
This is a varied position ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Around 50% of your time will be spent preparing lunches for our on-site training days, with the remaining time focused on maintaining our facilities to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
**Catering (approx. 50%)**
- Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious lunches for small groups (dietary needs considered)
- Set up and clear the dining area
- Carry out food safety checks (fridge temps, cooked food, probe calibration)
- Weekly Legionnaires checks
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and complete cleaning records
- Manage food stock and ordering to reduce waste
- Keep office kitchens stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, and milk
**Housekeeping (approx. 50%)**
- Clean offices, education block, and two ensuite bedrooms
- Wash, dry, and iron household linen
- Maintain a maintenance log and report issues
What We’re Looking For
- Previous catering experience
- Level 2 Culinary Arts or equivalent
- Food Safety and allergy awareness training
- Computer literate
- Friendly, flexible, and conscientious
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
