**Who you’ll be working for**:
Ilex Content Strategies is a small but rapidly growing content and communications agency based in Chichester, West Sussex. We serve technology and telecoms companies around the world with clients in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North and SouthAmerica.

We combine Editorial Content, PR, Social Media and Advertising to achieve our clients’ business objectives.

**What’s in it for you**:
**You will be responsible for**:

- Drafting media pitches and press releases
- Creating social media calendars, blog posts and other written material for business audiences
- Pitching client stories to the media
- Distributing press releases and contacting journalists to get stories placed, building a rapport with both the B2B and national press

**You will need the following skills**:

- Good writing skills with an interest in writing for business
- A confident telephone manner
- Ability to work independently and have a go but ask questions when needed
- Being comfortable using social media platforms, in particular LinkedIn
- Ability to work independently and a willingness to be proactive and get involved
- Willingness to learn and a passion for delivering excellent work
- An interest in technology and telecoms, or a willingness to learn about these industries is required, as is an interest in the B2B sector

**Entry requirements**:
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Working week**:
Office hours are 9am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. On Fridays we finish at 4.30pm.

**Future prospects**:
Once permanent there is the opportunity for occasional travel to London and abroad to meet clients and attend industry events.

**Important information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
